IYISF is a Non-Profit Yoga Organization
The Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, as part of the larger Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California is a membership-based non-profit yoga association. Our mission is to promote the study, practice, and teaching of yoga according to the teachings of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar and to foster a flourishing yoga community.
Iyengar Yoga emphasizes the integration of body, mind, and spirit. It hones the body, sharpens awareness, and builds in its practitioners a feeling of inner balance and harmony. We want to share the benefits of yoga with our community.
Yogathon 2023
Yogathon 2023
Welcome to our Annual Yogathon fundraiser celebrating 49 years of Community. This year’s theme is Connecting Community – Soul to Soul. Our campaign starts May 13th and runs throughout the month of June.
IYANC/IYISF has an almost 50 year history – a testimony to the enduring meaning and value of what we bring – Iyengar Yoga – to the city of San Francisco, the region of Northern California and beyond!
During the past three years, we’ve adapted, shown resiliency and stewardship, and we’ve stayed afloat as we weather the pandemic’s waves and challenges. But today we need your help more than ever in order to keep the doors of our Sutter Street Institute open! Can we count on you to help support our nearly 50 year old Institute?
As a small non-profit, we depend on donations from people like you! Please consider what Iyengar Yoga and IYANC/IYISF have brought to your life and make your donation today. No donation is too small.
Thank you for being part of our community, and as always, we thank you for your generosity!
With Gratitude,
Your IYANC Board of Directors
P.S. – We have a fun day of community practice, food and dance planned for our Yogathon Celebration on June 17th. Hope to see you there!
