The Iyengar Institute of San Francisco is committed to developing programming to support students and teachers in growing and transforming their yoga practice.  We offer unique opportunities throughout the year to advance your practice by committing to a multi-day intensive with highly experienced Iyengar Yoga teachers from around the country and the world. Workshops will be available for sign-up online a minimum of three months before.

 

*3 day intensives have a fairly standard schedule which includes an evening practice on Friday and afternoon practice sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

Modern posture and lifestyle have created chronically tight and weak upper back and shoulders which lead to neck pain and even headaches. This workshop will focus on ways to develop both stable strength and range of motion in the shoulders and upper back using yoga asana.
