The Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco is one of the most respected, rigorous, and inspiring teacher training programs in the world. Students are admitted into the program based on their experience in Iyengar Yoga and their proven ability to commit to their studies and practice in this demanding and rewarding course of study.
The following are required to apply to the program:
- Students must have at least two years of consistent weekly practice in the Iyengar Yoga method to be accepted into the program.
- A written recommendation from an Iyengar certified teacher is required to complete the application process. We will contact your teacher to assess your readiness for the program.
- The names of your Iyengar teachers and the dates that you studied with them.
- A completed application along with a non-refundable $25 application fee.
