Researchers at UCLA followed 11 women for a 12-week period and noticed decreased fatigue in those who practiced Iyengar yoga. What do we mean alignment? It can be misunderstood as a static state that we hold and we can get caught up on how thing look, or simply the appearance of our body and our asanas (postures). Carrie uses play and experimentation in her classes as a safe container for the exploration of our edges and unexpressed parts of ourselves that are aching to come out.
